Our Story

Lisboa Caffé is a small batch artisan Portuguese bakery located in Brisbane. Joao and his team specialize in gourmet tarts, most famous for being one the best Portuguese Custard Tarts in Australia, as well as a unique and sought-after savoury range consisting of chicken and herbs and a local favourite, the goats cheese tart with walnut and honey.


From humble beginnings at markets, Lisboa Caffé has grown to become one of the most recognised brands in the pastry scene across South East Queensland as word of mouth spread about the combination of crunchy puff pastry combined with unique artisan fillings.


All products are hand-made by Portuguese bakers using a traditional recipe and our unique signature puff pastry shell. Using only premium ingredients such as cultured butter and organic eggs, all our products are free from preservatives, artificial colours and flavours.


This family-owned business sources direct from local producers to ensure all ingredients are fresh and of the highest standard.
